"Parece que Bradley Cooper necesitaba unas buenas vacaciones tras protagonizar El francotirador (American Sniper, Clint Eastwood, 2014), la polémica película bélica que está batiendo recórds de taquilla en Estados Unidos. Arriba podéis ver el tráiler de Aloha, el regreso del cineasta Cameron Crowe tras la insufrible Un lugar para soñar (We Bought a Zoo, 2011).
El guionista y director de títulos tan populares como Jerry Maguire (1996) y Casi famosos (Almost Famous, 2000) reúne a Cooper con Emma Stone y Rachel McAdams en una comedia romántica ambientada en localizaciones paradisiacas. La historia de la película gira en torno a un un contratista militar caído en desgracia. Asignado a una base en Hawai, el protagonista mantiene una tensa relación con una compañera de trabajo al mismo tiempo que se reencuentra con un viejo amor...
Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Danny McBride y Alec Baldwin completan el reparto de Aloha. Antes titulada Deep Tiki" y "Volcano Romance", Crowe llevaba años intentando sacar adelante este proyecto (en 2008 contaba con Ben Stiller y Reese Witherspoon como estrellas). Sony, a través de Columbia Pictures, estrenará la película el 29 de mayo en Estados Unidos; de momento no hay fecha para nuestro país.

" Cameron Crowe tiene en marcha el rodaje del que será su octavo largometraje. El año pasado os informamos sobre el nuevo proyecto del cineasta estadounidense, aun sin título oficial, y os adelantamos que la maravillosa Emma Stone sería una de las protagonistas. Ahora sabemos que a la joven estrella se han sumado posteriormente Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams, Alec Baldwin, Edi Gathegi y Danny McBride.
Crowe tenía previsto filmar esta película en 2009, con Ben Stiller y Reese Witherspoon en los papeles principales. Conocida previamente como "Deep Tiki" y "Volcano Romance", la historia gira en torno a un contratista militar caído en desgracia cuyo mejor amigo es un ordenador. Asignado a una base militar en Hawai para supervisar el lanzamiento de un satélite espía, mantiene una tensa relación con una compañera al mismo tiempo que se reencuentra con un viejo amor. Al parecer, el autor de "Jerry Maguire" (1996) ha estado modificando el guion durante estos cuatro años así que la sinopsis puede diferir bastante de lo que veamos luego en pantalla. Sony Pictures está detrás de este "Untitled Hawaii Project" y la intención es estrenar el año que viene.
La verdad, ahora mismo no me entusiasma la idea de ver otra película de un director tan sobrevalorado, sobre todo tras la lamentable "Un lugar para soñar" ("We Bought a Zoo", 2011), pero no suelo resistirme a un buen reparto por lo que imagino que volveré a morder el anzuelo. ¿A vosotros os sigue interesando la obra de Crowe?
