"Ya se conocen los ganadores de los Golden Globes 2014. Jennifer Lawrence se llevó el premio como Mejor Actriz de Reparto por "American Hustle". "Breaking Bad" ganó como Mejor Serie Dramática de TV. Jared Leto fue premiado como Mejor Actor de Reparto por su interpretación en "Dallas Buyers Club" Yaaay! La Mejor Película fue "12 Years A Slave". Cate Blanchet fue la Mejor Actriz Dramática, por "Blue Jasmine". El Mejor Actor Dramático fue Matthew McConaughey, por su papel en "Dallas Buyers Club". FINALLY!!!! Leonardo DiCaprio ganó como Mejor Actor en una Película-Comedia-Musical por su interpretación en "The Wolf Of Wall Street". Alfonso Cuarón ganó como Mejor Director por "Gravity". El evento fue animado por las súper divertidas, Tina Fey y Amy Poehler , quienes por cierto se burlaron de Taylor Swift (again!). "Las protagonistas de la serie esta vez serían Selena Gómez, Blake Lively, Emma Roberts y Elizabeth Olsen.Las fanáticas aún recuerdan a las cuatro protagonistas de la popular serie de TV "Sex and the City" en sus mejores años; es decir, antes de las dos películas que, como concuerdan muchos, desdibujaron su fashionista legado.
Ahora, según afirman varios medios internacionales encabezados por el portal británico Daily Mail, Carrie, Samantha, Miranda y Charlotte podrían retornar a la televisión, terreno que a punta de sensualidad, sexo, desparpajo y toneladas de glamour, dominaron por 7 años (1998-2004).
El primer rumor del regreso de "Sex and the City" surgió hace algunos meses, sin embargo apuntaba a que se haría una precuela cinematográfica de la serie, hoy convertida en franquicia. Esta estaría protagonizada por Elizabeth Olsen (como Carrie), la protagonista de Gossip Girl y presunta novia de Leonardo DiCaprio, Blake Lively (Samantha), la ex estrella de Disney Selena Gómez (Charlotte) y Emma Roberts (Miranda).
Pero, según las últimas versiones, Sarah Jessica Parker, quien fungiría como productora, y los miembros del staff concuerdan en que, con el fin de superar el fracaso de la última película de la franquicia, relanzar el producto en la televisión sería el mejor camino para darle nuevos bríos.
Daily Mail apunta que el elenco del show estaría conformado por las jóvenes actrices antes mencionadas. No obstante, otras publicaciones indican que esto sería poco probable ya que, para el futuro próximo, las jóvenes están comprometidas en otros proyectos.
En tanto, otros medios precisan que los personajes serían interpretados por las actrices originales (Sarah Jessca Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon y Kristin Davis), aunque teniendo en cuenta que algunas de ellas ya pasaron las 5 décadas (Kim Cattrall, la sensual Samantha ya tiene 54 años) podría resultar poco verosímil que siguieran enfrascadas en la voragine sexual a la que, en seis exitosas temporadas, mantuvieron expectante a los seguidores de la serie.
Solo faltaría que el creador de la serie, Darren Star, dé su decisión final, sin embargo, Sarah Jessica Parker "definitivamente desea que el proyecto se vuelva una realidad".
